Dear Parents:
The Carleton District is hosting a Winter Cuboree this year. A Winter Cuboree is a day outing with all the Cubs in the Carleton District. There will be lots of organized games to play, a sliding hill, a horse drawn sleigh ride, etc.
The Cuboree takes place on Sunday, February 3, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Pinto Valley Ranch in Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario.
The cost is $12.00 (twelve) dollars per person. This includes the use and rental fees for the facilities, all the games, lunch and a crest. A late registration fee of $2.00 will be added for any registrations submitted to the Registrar after January 18, 2002.
As per scouting regulations, we require at least one adult for every four Cubs attending. Consider joining your child for this fun and exciting day.
Cubs do not need to be in uniform but please make sure that they are dressed for the weather. You should also bring along extra mitts and socks inside two waterproof plastic (grocery) bags.
Sliders for the sliding hill will be provided, so the youth do not need to bring their own.
Parking at the site is limited so we would encourage parents to coordinate their own car pools.
We are also looking for parent volunteers to help
at the activities on Sunday, February 3rd.

Please print and complete a Consent Form for each child and a Physical Fitness Certificate for every adult and youth attending this event.
Make your cheque payable to: 3rd Kanata Weasel Cub Pack.
Submit your fees and completed forms to me by Monday, January 14, 2002.
If for some reason you must cancel, after January 18, 2002 a $2.00 administration fee will be charged. No refunds will be issued after January 25, 2002. Our Cub Pack registration and forms must be submitted to the District by January 18, 2002 to avoid late registration fees.
