This Week: We had a tour of CJOH TV station. The Cubs were taken around by Carolyn Waldo and shown how the news is put together, where and how it is done. They got to see themselves at the news desk. Thanks to CJOH for their community spirit!
Next Week: Is a regular meeting with a focus on Law awareness and the completion of our Canadian Heritage work.
Badge Work: Cubs completed Blue Star #B3. All Cubs who have attended our tours this year should now be able to complete the Blue Star - one of the objectives for this year's programme.
Parent Survey Form: Group is also trying to get feedback from parents on your opinion of the programme to date. Please note the questionnaire on our website (http://3rd.kanatacubs.com/forms/3Ksurvey.html) and bring it in to me when you can. We still have received no submissions. Thanks for the help.
Note: Pre-registration will be held on two days in May. This is to give current members an early chance to sign up to return before we accept new members next year. Further details to follow. We will also be holding a Group Swim up (to welcome White Tail Beavers into the Cub programme) and Leap Up (to send 3rd year Cubs to Scouts) on 23 May at St. Anne's School. More information to follow. Finally, we will be holding Scoutrees and a Yard Bag sale as well for our final fundraisers for the year. This is an opportunity for those who wish to complete their Volunteer Bond activity. You can check the posted spreadsheet at our website to see your points to date.
