Badge Work: We ask that each Cub draw and color the Canadian Flag as well as two flags of other countries - preferably from their ancestry. Bring these flags in because we would like to do some Purple Star activities to meet requirements A1 and A7.
Also take a look at the World Cubbing Badge requirement #2. If any Cub would like to make a scrapbook of another country, it would allow us to also do Purple Star requirement A10: Participate in an activity where you explore the traditions of a culture or country other than your own.
Are there any parents who would like to volunteer to help us in this activity by talking to the Cubs about your culture or country? (this Monday or the following Monday?)
The Play: We will be handing out the tickets to next weekend's play tonight. Please write your name on the back since there will be a draw for a door prize (vouchers for the Scouts Shop) at each performance. There is no seat assignment on the tickets. If you cannot pick up your tickets tonight make arrangements to get them from Baloo (Mark Tunnicliffe @ 599-8941).
