This Week: We had an international day with presentations on Korea and Central America. We had a geography game and an active game from Australia.
Next Week: is an outdoor meeting at the Bridlewood Community Centre (essentially the Bridlewood Community Elementary School on Bluegrass Dr. We will have an outdoor sports night with skating and sliding. Dress warmly for the weather and be prepared to be outside for the whole meeting (normal time from 06:30 to around 08:00). Bring your skates and/or toboggans and meet at the skating rink. There will be hot chocolate and cookies. Drop off and pick-up is at the skating rink (where there will be a sign up sheet). Parents and siblings are welcome to stay.
Badge Work: Cubs completed Items #A10 in the Purple Star and those who presented last Monday did item 3B in World Cubbing. We had badge testing in which 4 stars and badges were won (the stars were handed out - we have to get the badges to you next week. Many Cubs were not prepared for badge testing and had nothing to present. By this time in the programme most should have almost all of the Green Star done leaving only a little to be completed at home. The Cubs who did not get a chance to present for a badge seemed interested in doing so - they just need a bit of encouragement!
Cuboree: Just a reminder of Cuboree Saturday next. There is a volunteer meeting this Sunday - and B Pack still has to identify two parent volunteers to help with the games.
